Labor Day tango weekend with Oscar Casas and Jesica Arfenoni

Come learn from these world-renowned dancers and instructors from Buenos Aires when they return to Little Rock for a workshop, milonga and practica over Labor Day weekend! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just getting started, you won't want to miss it!

The events will include classes on Saturday and Sunday and a milonga on Saturday evening. Since it's a holiday weekend we'll also have a practica right after the classes on Sunday.

All the events will be at the elegant Club 27, on the upper floor of 614 President Clinton Avenue in Little Rock's River Market district.

Here's the schedule:

Saturday, Sept. 2

1-2:30 p.m. TANGO TECHNIQUE FOR LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS: Elegance, cadence, posture, musicality. Vital elements for a social dance.

3-4:30 p.m. CLASSIC MILONGUERO FIGURES: Enrich your dance today with these essential elements for the social dance floor.

8:30-11:30: Milonga (social dance) with performances by Oscar and Jesica!

Sunday, Sept. 3

1-2:30 p.m. GIRO, LAPIZ AND PARADA: Combinations and technique for leaders and followers.

3-4:30 p.m. FUN WITH MILONGA: Add the right ingredients to make a fiesta of this dance.
Club 27

4:30-6:30 p.m.: Practica.

The price is $25 per class, with an early-bird discount price of $20 per class for registration and payment received by midnight on Sunday, Aug. 27. The price for full-time students with ID is $15 per class.

Admission to the Saturday night milonga is $10, or FREE for those taking all four classes. Admission to the practica is $5 or free for those taking at least one class.

Oscar and Jesica will also be available for private lessons.
