A wonderful workshop to start the weekend off.  A must for both leaders and followers setting the stage for your weekend ahead and beyond.  The focus will be on posture, movements, connection and sustaining all of these elements throughout the dance.  Open to all levels, no partner required.  $25.00 per person

Held prior to the Milonga, this 45 minute workshop is designed to entice you off the sofa and onto the dance floor.  Some really great concepts around making the most of your space on the floor, awareness of others, getting yourself out of scrapes and most importantly enjoying dancing in a social environment.  After this class "Nobody puts baby in the corner"  Open to all levels - no partner necessary $12.50 per person (or $25 includes Milonga entry)

EVENT ORGANISER

Alex Frankpitt

Hi, I'm part of the tango community in the beautiful coastal town of Tauranga, in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. We are always open to helping organise workshops with visiting teachers, events and promoting tango to the wider community. I also organise special themed Milongas with Brenda Donald throughout the year.
