Tango workshop with Maia Glikstein in NDTS-New Delhi Tango school.

Date: 27th May 2017
Time: 5-6.30 pm ladies technique
6.30-8 pm couple technique
Fee:

The class will be divided into three parts:
-Warm up –yoga exercises, breath control-
2.Concept development
3.Application of concepts + musicality
Ladies course
-Systematisation - the positions of legs, feet, arms.
- Alignment applied to balance.
-Ornaments technique and musicality.
Class for couples
1.Walking Technique
2. Balance exercises
3.Connection from breathing
4.Embrace technique/ variants
5. STEP Sequence

Kiran has been dancing since she was 6 years old, starting with Kathak, Odissi, Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, salsa, merengue, jive, rock and roll, bachata, zouk and cha cha. In 2004, she found her real love and passion- Argentine tango. She had years of training in different forms of dances. She started teaching in 2012. Over the years, Kiran continued her pursuit in Tango and updated herself in the various tango styles - salon, stage, milonguero and nuevo. Kiran traveled all over the world, attended various Tango festivals, classes, practicas and milongas. Now she teaches Tango in various festivals all over the world with her partner.
