18.00 Art Exhibition Opening “Nostalgia del Sur” with oil paintings by the Argentinian artist Mirna Hidalgo, accompanied by live violin musician Pablo José Albornoz. The show will include works inspired by the emotions that tango inspire and by the varied landscapes of our country. Reinterpreted through the semi abstraction and the imaginary, dreamy atmosphere of Mirna’s paintings.
17.30 - 18.30 Tango class - Learn to Tango with Tango Souls on Tour, teachers Federico González and Mina Legnered. (The class is optional with separate registration.)
19.00 - 20.00 The Story of Tango - A performance by Tango Souls on Tour with Music, Song and Dance. The show is narrated in Spanish by Federico González and Mina Legnered translates into English.
Tickets will include a drink offered during the reception.
Mirna Hidalgo - graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Bruges, landscape artist, oil painting, expert in Psychology of Creativity.
Pablo Albornoz - violinist of Mar del Plata symphony orchestra and municipal tango orchestra of Mar del Plata, composer and creator of DMol, avant-garde group in tango. Specialized in tango and neotango.
Federico Gonzalez & Mina Legnered - Federico is a teacher of tango, singer and professional dancer, creator of events and educational programs based on tango. He is accompanied by tango dancer Mina from Sweden.
