EVENT ORGANISER
Tango Club Reykjavík
Hlynur “El Arce” Helgason is an accomplished tango DJ and event organiser representing Tangófélagið (Reykjavík Tango Club), Iceland’s premier tango organisation. Since 2016, he has been a dedicated DJ for the club, establishing himself as one of Iceland’s most experienced and technically proficient tango music specialists.
Hlynur serves as a resident DJ at El Cramo Reykjavík, performing twice a month and demonstrating consistent event management capabilities. Through his role with Tangófélagið, he has been instrumental in organising and supporting various tango events, including the club’s regular milongas at prestigious venues such as Iðnó Theatre and Kramhúsið. His involvement in the organisation extends to multiple weekly events, including Tuesday milongas at Iðnó, Friday events at Kramhúsið, and the signature El Cramo milongas.
