Description
Welcome to the 12th Bergen Tango Marathon!
Registration at www.bergentangomarathon.no
The marathon takes place at Fensal in the center of Bergen, where you will enjoy great music and a wonderful dance floor, lots of fabulous food (all you can eat), and the " Bergen atmosphere". Each night our bar will be open, serving all kinds of drinks.
Find cheap direct flights to Bergen from more than 70 foreign cities: https://avinor.no/en/airport/bergen-airport#directflights : wizzair.com, flysas.com, norwegian.com, klm.com, britishairways.com, and more.
For those who wants something extra, there will be guided tours in Bergen, AND the stay behind, Hardanger fjord blossom walkabout (see fb event).
We will have a balanced number of leaders and followers, totally approx. 200. Participants should have dancing level, medium advanced or higher. Admissions are based on time of registration, dance level, and more.
Included in the marathon fee is the Fire Up Milonga on April 30. and the Dynamite Departure on May 3., which also takes place in Fensal. After last year.s success, we will give an EXTRA EXTRA milonga on May 4, where we empty our bar and kitchen. Plenty of quality food and drinks will be served during the marathon, also for free. On May 5., the local milonga in legendary Jekteviken takes places (www.bergentango.no).
Music by locals and other excellent DJ's.
