Description

Come learn from these master instructors from Argentina!

The event will include classes Saturday and Sunday, and a milonga Saturday evening, with performances by the instructors.

Note there will also be a class and practicalonga with Oscar on Thursday, April 19. More details here.

All the events will be at the elegant Club 27, on the upper floor of 614 President Clinton Ave. in Little Rock's River Market district.

Here's the schedule:

Saturday, April 21

1-2:30 p.m. TANGO TECHNIQUE FOR MEN AND WOMEN: Elegance, cadence, posture, musicality: rhythm and melody. Vital elements for a social dance.

3-4:30 p.m. 100% CADENCE (CADENCIA): A mystical classic milonguero movement that softens the general movements through the famous tango.

8:30-11:30 p.m. Milonga with performances by Oscar and Jesica

Sunday, April 22

1-2:30 p.m. HOW TO DANCE TANGO BETWEEN THE FIGURES. The figures do not mean tango. Among them there are musical movements that separate figures for efficiency in the organization of the dance.

3-4:30 p.m. VALS: REVIVING OLD MOVEMENTS. In the old times, the movements were realized organically. The chained movements are impressionable movements that decorate the vals and enhance the dance.

The price is $30 per class, with an early-bird discount price of $25 per class for registration and payment received by midnight on Sunday, April 14. The price for full-time students with ID is $20 per class.

Admission to the Saturday night milonga is $15, or FREE for those taking all four classes.
