We are happy to invite you to our next Foundations Immersion Seminars in Buenos Aires! Please join us for 5 days focused on essential aspects of tango:

TECHNIQUE * BODY AWARENESS * CONNECTION * MUSICALITY * FLOORCRAFT...

... in other words, a 20-hour immersion seminar focused exclusively on foundations, stripping your dance to its essential components and rebuilding it from the bottom up and from the inside out!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: A comprehensive exploration of turns in all their aspects: individual foundation work on posture, axis, weight transfers, pivots; the 3 geometrical possibilities for turns; dynamics (suspensions, drops and changes of speed); adding classical elements such as sacadas, ganchos and boleos; breaking away from the molinete to explore new, fully improvised options in the turn, including changes of direction. Attention to detail and individualized attention (the group is limited to 20 students) so as to challenge newer and experienced dancers alike, at their own level. And some serious fun and laughter to go along with the serious work!

WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T EXPECT: fancy steps and complex sequences. We will focus on building and refining your movement. Our goal is not to add figures but to add comfort, quality and expression, and to unify the knowledge you have accumulated over the years.
