Description
4 days - 7 Milongas - 10 WS - at it's best!
Tango Summer in the City is a multi-day tango festival in Frankfurt am Main that blends the vibrant energy of an urban metropolis with the depth and intimacy of tango. It welcomes tango enthusiasts of all levels who seek an inspiring yet friendly and inclusive festival experience. The focus is on a warm, respectful community atmosphere, excellent dance floor and sound quality, and plenty of time for social connections beyond the dance floor.
Tango Summer in the City 2026 brings dancers from across Europe to Frankfurt for several days of dancing, learning, and celebration in the lively spirit of the Main metropolis. The program features top-quality milongas, inspiring workshops, and meaningful encounters in a city known for its central location and accessibility.
The event combines the lightness of summer with Frankfurt’s urban character: learn, explore, and enjoy the city by day — then dance into the night. All venues are air-conditioned, located within the city, and easily reached by public transport, making it easy to weave tango and city life together.
Multi-day workshop series with international teachers cover a wide range of topics — from technique and musicality to creative sequences for social dancing.
