8:30 - 9:30 Continuing Basic

DROP-INS WELCOME in all classes

AnaLinda’s teaching is unique for its focus on simplifying the dance, providing a foundation in partner connection, floor navigation and delight in sensual movement.

TANGO FUNDAMENTALS
The Argentine Tango is an improvisational social dance which requires solid technique and builds communication skills and inspiration. This is the class for those tools! Learn the basic tango elements, and the dynamic and expressive range of tango movement. We integrate the beginning dancer into their breath and balance, connect them to their imagination through the music and build a strong, collaborative relationship with their dance partner of the moment.

CONTINUING TANGO
Take the next step in your tango. This is both a continuing class using the foundational elements from the first hour and putting them into sequences, and a class for continuing level students (advanced-beginner). You will connect-the-dots from your fundamentals classes and dance seamlessly. Every session of this class is new material and it can be taken many times. We expose the structure and technique of tango to keep memorizing patterns to a minimum.

TangoEmbrace classes at this level retain focus on comfort and dynamism in the partner frame. Explore the dynamic and expressive range of tango movement. We do more musicality and refine technique in the second hour. We will cover Cross steps (Ocho combinations), into turning figures including the Molinete. Learn to make a round box, fun accelerations, and tango stops (Paradas).

PAYMENT: Each class is $15 at the door. Both classes together one night are $28
One series is $85 at the door. Two series back to back is $160 at the door.***

Pre-registration at a discount is open with payment up to one week in advance. Please write for the mailing address.
PAYMENTS the day of class SHOULD BE MADE TO ANALINDA DIRECTLY at the Dance Complex. Checks and Cash accepted.

***Please consider taking the TWO SERIES as the ACCELLERATED LEARNING PACKAGE
The first hour you learn the universal, basic tango elements. The second hour refines them so they are more comfortable, beautiful and musical. We put them into combinations in the second hour. If you are new to tango and are in my first hour class you will profit greatly from both hours. This is a great intensive approach
with the material in the 8:30pm series elaborating the material from the 7:30pm class each week.

PARKING: municipal lots on Bishop Allen Street 1 block North, and the Green Street Garage 1 block South.
T: On the Red line at Central Square

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private classes are held in a beautiful art studio space in Boston's South End SOWA 450 Harrison ave with plenty of parking. Flexible daytime and evening hours and package pricing
is available.

Happy Dancing,
