Description
Going into it's 8th year, join over 300 "Tango Burners" at the legendary BurningTango Festival on the south slope of Mt Shasta in the tiny village of McCloud, CA. Not just tango, but great access to hiking, swimming, fishing, camping and, of course, the friendliest tangueros.
Note: A series of "Pre-Burn" events takes place on Thursday & Friday, June 13 & 14, 2019 which are organzied by the instructors and DJs themselves. Admission to these events is not included with the official Full Pass Wristband, but must be paid for at the door. (Check Schedule for more information.) All proceeds from these Pre-Burn events goes directly to the teachers and DJs.
The "Official" BurningTango events start Friday evening (7:00pm) and go thru Sunday evening (10:00pm) and include:
8 Traditional and Alternative Milongas
2 Mixer Milongas
5 Classes
1 Guided Practica
10 Instructors
6 DJs
2 Live Tango Ensembles (Folias Duo & The Redwood Tango Ensemble)
