Description
We are delighted to be bringing two very special guests to Swansea to put on an amazing event. The Island Dance Wizards - Teaching Specialists - Tango, Blues, Fusion and more will be teaching a Blues/Tango fusion workshop. Then Cabaret Tango will be playing live music in a Milonga/Freestyle
The workshop will run from 4-6pm, and is suitable for anyone who has danced tango, blues or modern jive.
The Milonga will run from 6-10pm and will feature a live set from Cabaret Tango and Urban Tango Nights will be playing a mix of traditional, nuevo and alternative tango music as well as blues and modern jive music
Location: Room B, Fulton House, Singleton Campus, Swansea University (the Room has a large, beautifully sprung, wooden floor)
Price: Workshop and Dancing/Milonga £20 (Freestyle/Milonga only £15)
The Island Dance Wizards run dance classes on the Isle of Wight and mainland, teaching a wide range of dances inlcuding Argentine Tango, Traditional Blues, Fusion, Bachata, Rock 'n' Roll, Smooth Modern Jive, Cuban Salsa, Club Cha-Cha and Charleston. They have also been invited teachers at the Learning Tango Fesitival and FFS Tango.
Cabaret Tango is a Bristol Based group of musicians playing an eclectic fusion of alternative and traditional tango music.
