Description
This exclusive workshop-lab 'Rhythmic, Dance & Performance: Tango, Milonga and Candombre from off the Dalcroze Method' will be taught within a Knowledge Exchange collaboration with the contemporary dance company ICK/ Amsterdam. It will take place from 9-13 July (5-day workshop, with an open presentation on Friday 13 July) at the location ICK/ De Vlugt Burgemeester de Vlugtlaan 125 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Choreographer- Dramaturge Gabriela Zuarez (Cie El Sur Mundo Project) will lead the workshop- lab in collaboraton with guest- teacher- artist Carla Fonseca (UNA, University of the Arts Buenos Aires city), specialized in Rhythmic and guest- musician Gerardo Agnese ( UNR University of Rosario City) as musical accompanist. The workshop-lab proposes to deep and to enrich the research in dance approaching the essential rhythmic of Tango music.
Submissions: interested dancers, performers must submit their motivation, CV and video links to: artdirector@elsurmundoproject.nl. As well actors and musicians with dance background or physical training are eligible to apply.
