Description
In this first edition named North Sea Tango Festival, we aim for a full immersion of 2 days and 3 nights with workshops, shows, special guests from Argentina, musicalizadores and milongas with live music. Tango lessons are planned for all levels of in-depth study aimed to reinforce the basic concepts of tango dancing and its music and then move to a more advanced and complex technique. Exceptional evenings will offer the opportunity to get lost in the steps and music of one of the most sensual disciplines ever existed.
Program at glance:
At the opening milonga on Friday we will be enchanted by the performance of the European Champions Carlos and Mirella Santos David. Sonder Tango orchestra will be playing live!
On Saturday evening we will have the Gala milonga and you will be captivated by the performances of two extraordinary Argentinean couples “Vanesa Villalba & Facundo Pinero” and “Agustina Piaggio & Carlitos Espinoza”. Sonder Tango orchestra will be playing live again with the addition of the singer Ruben Peloni.
On Sunday, there will be live music by La Juan D’Arienzo orchestra at the milonga de despedida and the ronda de maestros.
During the day on Saturday and Sunday there will be workshops curated by the three couples of maestros.
