Description

Celebrate New Year's Eve and welcome 2027 in beautiful Heidelberg.
From 31 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, join us at the new Intango – Tango Center Heidelberg for four days of dancing, learning and celebrating together. Under the motto "From Tradition To Tomorrow", the weekend brings together different musical worlds while staying rooted in the spirit of Argentine Tango.

What to expect
| • Four festive days in Heidelberg at the turn of the year
| • An intimate international event with dancers from Germany and abroad – limited to 100 participants
| • Six milongas – from traditional Tango to contemporary Tango, Neo, Non-Tango and Fusion, each with its own distinct musical identity
| • On New Year's Eve, we'll welcome 2027 with a glass of sparkling wine (or a non-alcoholic alternative), a selection of traditional New Year's Eve pastries and a festive 50/50 night featuring 50% traditional tango and 50% neo-, non- and fusion tango
| • A balanced ratio of leaders and followers

| Winter School with Emile Sansour & Simge Yüz
| The gap between ‘I know this figure’ and ‘I can confidently dance it at the milonga tonight’ – that’s exactly what these 9 hours are all about.
| Our 9-hour intensive workshop program focuses on what really works on a social dance floor: consciously playing with tempo, dynamics, and intensity; listening to your partner; and staying flexible when things on the dance floor don’t go as planned.
| Instead of collecting more patterns, you'll develop skills you can immediately use in real milonga situations.
