Every 1st Saturday of the month, the place to be for Tangolovers is the Altena Chapel in Kontich, about 15 km south of Antwerp. The Altena is located in a beautiful park with ponds around, Parking spaces are abundant in the adjacent streets. The approximately 200m² large dancefloor in polished stone is bordered by plenty of tables and seats for dancers. The exceptionally high Chapel ridge gives an enormous feeling of space. Everyone is welcome and we make it our policy that respect will be shown for all dancers, regardless of their dancing style or level of dance. Prior to the milonga one or two workshops are organized by “Maestros Invitados”. Among so many others already Anibal Lautaro & Valeria Masida, Florencia Labiano & Hernan Rodriguez, Daniel Nachuccio & Cristina Sosa passed as guest teachers.
