Lisbon Tango Marathon

We are very pleased to announce the first Edition of Lisbon Tango Marathon, which will take place between September 7th to 9th 2018 in the capital of Portugal.

For this special, cozy, gender-balanced event we chose one of the historic landmarks of the city, Mercado da Ribeira, where fresh fish, vegetables and fruits have been sold since the 19th century. In 2014 this market was completely redesigned and became home of the best restaurants and food stalls in the city where you can find appetizers, nouvelle cuisine and traditional Portuguese cuisine, prepared with regional products.

The dancing hall in Mercado has been renovated with a modern sound and lighting system spread over an area of almost 500 square meters. Here we will install more than 250 square meters of wooden floor with a special cushioning system which will ensure comfort for our long dancing hours.

Registrations will start on 8th March so make sure you don’t miss it! We are ready to accept up to 270 people from all over the world.

Lisbon is an edge of western world, place where city meets ocean – where civilization meets wild nature, place where all the adventures and discoveries started. Exactly this place we chose for new big adventure called Lisbon Tango Marathon.
