La Juan D’Arienzo Orchestra Tipica (formed by 11 musicians: 4 bandoneones, 4 violins, bass, piano and singer) took a challenge of becoming Juan D’Arienzo most truthful and remarkable apparition. Their true achievement though is not playing ‘in style’ of D’Arienzo. Their true achievement is to play as though D’Arienzo at his best is conducting them, poking them and whispering to their ears. With all that energy exploding through their music you know King of the Rhythm is in the room.

Carlos Lazzari, the first bandoneónist and arranger for the original Juan D’Arienzo Orchestra from 1950 until 1976 (when D’Arienzo passed away), and then a leader of Los Solistas de D’Arienzo passed all the knowledge, arrangements and secrets onto his son Facundo Lazzari who is La Juan D’Arienzo Orchestra first bandoneónist, arranger and leader.
