Description
The Courtyards of Tango Return to Mondovì!We are celebrating this milestone by returning to the very first city that put its trust in us and hosted our debut 11 years ago.
On 21 and 22 August, we look forward to seeing you in the streets and squares of the historic centre to share this wonderful experience of cultural, musical, and immersive events.
This edition’s theme is “Living the Tango" in all its facets. Through the body, relationships, and personal experience, Tango becomes a medium for deep reflection and a dialogue between one’s inner feelings and the physical places where the dance was born. We will touch upon highly topical issues through the testimonies of emigrants and victims of dictatorships, exploring how Tango can—in its own way—help build bonds, rediscover oneself, find a sense of "home," and create moments for discussion and insight.Of course, all of this will be accompanied by music, free-form dance, and those essential notes: fun, lightheartedness, and the joy of being together.
