Fourth Delhi International Tango Festival With Los Ocampos

Festival Details:
• Guest teachers: Monica Romero and Omar Ocampo, "Los Ocampo"
• Special guest singer from Buenos Aires: Silvana Casal
• Guest D.J. Marisol from Bailarin Tango Club in the UK

We have 20+ confirmed tango dancers flying in from
mainly from the UK plus Argentina, Turkey, Oman and the USA.

Dates: November 9th to 11th (Thursday to Saturday)

November 9th: Workshops + free practice till midnight
November 10th: workshops + Championship + Milonga with show from 8:30 pm
November 11th: workshops + Milonga with show from 8:30 pm
Topics for workshops:
Workshop 1 and 2 progressive:
• giros y contragiros followed by paradas followed by cambio de frente (change of weights)
Workshop 3 and 4 progressive:
• Contra tiempo and syncopation and traspie.
• Tango Nuevo sequences in close embrace.

Workshop 5
- Tango-Vals: musicality and sequences for the dance floor.
Workshop 6
- Musicality for the Milonga lisa and traspié
