Description
Denia is a city in the Valencian Community, Spain located on the north coast of the province of Alicante.
Along almost 20 kilometers on its open seafront to the north and northeast, the low sandy coasts and the cut and cliffed coasts of Las Rotas, where the hotels for our festival are located, and those coasts reach their maximum dimension in the Cova Tallada.
The climate of Denia is especially mild and placid, having in November an average temperature of between 15 and 20 degrees.
The city shows old neighborhoods such as the one of Les Roques or the deBaix la Mar, the streets that go down from the castle remind us of the Arab past of the place and the lower part of the modernism that took the raisin trade.
Denia is the perfect city for this warm festival of tango and ballroom dancing.
