Description

Milonga Pasional, the big open air milonga in the center of Athens takes place every Saturday night during the summer on the terrace of Polis att cafe. Milonga Pasional is very popular and many people gather there. The place is spacious, the type of music is traditional and the ambience is enchanting.

Every Saturday a different dj plays music. Tango shows are presented during the milonga, once or twice per month.

On Saturday 30 of June w'll enjoy a wonderfull show by the excellent tango couple : Elli Karadimou and Jordi Moragues. Music will be played by the Dj Vassili Notis.

Entrance fee, every Saturday, 8 euros per person  with one glass of wine or beer or juice.

MILONGA PASIONAL is a Tango School that hosts & promotes Argentinian Tango in Athens and other cities in Greece, since 2003. It is mostly known as the biggest open-air Milonga in Greece that takes place every Saturday during Summer on the terrace of Polis Art Café. Through dance classes, seminars, milongas & educational trips to Buenos Aires, we have become a site of attraction for many tango aficionados. We provide a teaching space for the development of the technique and dancing skills of our students. A place of diffusion of the culture that Argentinian tango represents. Mrs. Katerina Chatzidaki is the main teacher, event organiser and responsible for the dancing classes. She has been taught by Argentinian teachers in Greece & Buenos Aires. She loves to transmit the spirit & technique of tango as it is experienced traditionally in Argentina. Milonga Pasional also has valuable partners for the music, the teaching, the school & events organisation. We are proud to organise the first Heraklion Tango Marathon, 22-25 March 2019
