Description

The Byblos Tango Festival (BTF) is an annual three days long event that takes place in the port city of Byblos, Lebanon, during the last week of the month of September.

It took place for the first time in 2014 in an effort to promote the culture of Tango in Lebanon. Beirutango association, founded by dancer and choreographer Mazen Kiwan, along with a team of dedicated people and Tango lovers, was behind this initiative. BTF is a cozy and casual Tango festival of international scale that attracts internationally acclaimed artists, instructors, DJs and dancers from all over the world to gather in a historical and cultural destination. It is held in an utmost pleasant and entertaining location. All Milongas venues are located outdoor, in the old town of Byblos, which is the central part of the city, and are within walking distance of workshop venues, hotels and attraction places.

On this 5th edition's menu, the BTF will be hosting the couple of maestro artists Eşref Tekinalp & Vanessa Gauch and the couple of maestro artists Ozan Firat & Georgia Zikou . In addition, Tango cafes, introduction sessions for beginners and Tango parades are waiting for you, along with a good deal of sea and sun.

The BTF could be the perfect opportunity for you to Tango while spending an exotic vacation discovering the ancient city of Byblos, meeting new people and dancing Tango all day and night long.
