Description
The 2017 Chicago Mini Tango Festival will be held from April 20-24, 2017.
Spice up your spring with hot social dancing in Chicago! This weekend, for the 12th year, will provide you with a unique opportunity to share your love of tango, meet new people, and celebrate Spring in Chicago.
The primary curriculum, featuring primarily esteeemed milonguero or social dancing style instructors from Buenos Aires, is designed with the experienced dancer in mind. A separate program for the more novice dancer is available.
The Argentine instructors include: 2016 World Tango Champions - Cristian Paolomo and Melisa Sacchi, 2013 World Tango Champions - Maximiliano Cristiani and Jesica Arfenoni, Nelida "Nely" Fernando and Hernan Alvarez Prieto, Alicia Pons and Daniel Arias, and Eva Garlez and Pablo Rodriguez.
Djs include: Vivi La Falce, Hernan Alvarez Prieto, Victoria Guasch, Jae Youn, Vincent Lam, Oleh Kovachulke, and Muna Swairjo.
